Today Microsoft announced the release of XNA Games Studio Express as a frame work enabling the development of both PC and Xbox 360 games. To help expose this technology, Microsoft is partnering with Garage Games.
Also today, Garage Games announced Torque X, a XNA enabled version of the Torque technologies. This technology will enable developers to create their own content and applications for the Xbox 360. This groundbreaking announcement could provide the foundation for MS&T software on the Xbox 360. The Xbox, is a triple core, power pc, system. The graphics support, developed by ATI, represents the next generation of rendering technology. This graphics chipset contains two processors and enables HDTV resolution graphics and maximum vertex processing. C2C will be at the forefront of this technology.
